Hiking does not sound fun when you are on a trip, isn’t it supposed to be relaxing and fun? Hiking in Vernon can change your mind about exercising and it can become an activity that is fun and enjoyable. Many local trails in Vernon are not always in the newspapers or across media outlets, but rather locals have discovered them. There are many different hiking trails you can enjoy in Vernon from longer hikes up mountains or short walks through the nature. You pick, we tell.

  1. Rail-trail: The newest addition to Vernon, a hiking or biking trail that stretches across 49km. You can slowly walk the rail-trail or bring a couple of friends and bike all the way to Kelowna with amazing lake views and restaurants to stop and pull over.
  2. B.X hiking trail: The B.X. trail is great for hikers who enjoy walking long distances and up and down small hills. At the end of the trail you can see an amazing waterfall which will leave you speechless. Don’t miss out!
  3. Kal hiking trail: Want views of a beach and mountain then Kal trail is for you. Enjoy your time walking while looking down at the beach, while spring and summer are the best seasons for this trail, it can be done in the winter.

Imagine a view like that, seems like a dream but make it a reality by hiking the rail trail!
